MYTHS ABOUT LEAGUE ADVOCACY
The League works to influence public policy through advocacy, directed by positions that have been taken after long, thorough studies and consensus at the local, state or national level depending on the scope. Positions are used to advocate for or against particular policies remaining true to its basic purpose: making democracy work for all citizens. The League of Women Voters makes a difference in the lives of citizens.
